Who We Are & What We Do:

Our Youth Groups at CBC consist of a wide variety of students from the schools in the surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide a safe environment for all teens, so that they can build positive relationships, while providing the students with strong Biblical teaching that is relevant to them.

Our Name “Out There” What Does It Mean?

This comes from Matthew 14: 22-36. This is the story of Peter walking on the water. Many times we focus on the fact that Peter lost his focus on the water and began to sink, but where were the other 11 disciples? They stayed in the boat! Peter was willing to take the risk and go “out there” to see his Savior, even if it meant there was a chance to fail. Many times we need to get away from the comfort of the boat to go “out there” to meet Jesus and see what He has in store for us. Yes, we may fail, but the reward of obedience is so great.
